Open Sessions

At Discovery Play we run our structured sessions from 9-11am and 12-2pm. Our sessions are capped at a maximum of 20 children, please book in advance to avoid disappointment.

What sets us apart? Our staff hold Diploma in Children's Services, first aid, and working with children checks. With over 15 years of experience in the early education sector, we have developed Discovery Play, focusing on the importance of Early Years Education.

Our indoor environment is set out with areas that focus on children’s learning and development through play. These include;

- Hairdressers

-Home corner with dolls 

-Construction

-Bugs and Insects 

-Soft play area 

-Climbing equipment 

-Book/Quiet corner

In between sessions all equipment and resources are disinfected and cleaned before the next opening time.

Our open door sessions are for children to explore our structured play space at their own pace, under the guidance and supervision of their guardian. 

Messy play and sensory play will be hosted throughout our open door sessions, you will be notified through advertisement on our social media pages. 

Discovery Kids is aimed at children aged 5-12 years. This session is hosted as an after school activity on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

At creative minds we explore all things science, slime, arts and craft, STEM and many more topics.

Parents are welcome to drop and run during this session, all children must be signed in and permission and medical forms completed.

All you need to do is bring along your food, refreshments and decorations and we will handle the rest.
